Kaixue Ma received B.E. and M. E. from Northwestern Polytechnolgical University (NWPU), China, and Ph.D degree from Nanyang Technological Univ. (NTU). From Aug.1997 to Dec. 2002, he was with China Academy of Space Technology (Xi’an), where he was Group Leader of millimeter-wave group for space-borne microwave & mm-wave subsystems of satellite payload and VSAT ground station. From Sept. 2005 to Sept. 2007, he was with MEDs Technologies as an R&D Manager and project leader etc. From Sept. 2007 to Mar. 2010, he was with ST Electronics as R&D Manager and Technique Management Committee etc. From 2010 to 2013, he was a Senior Research Fellow and Millimeter-wave IC team leader of 60GHz Flagship Chipset project and successfully development re-configurable 60GHz system-on-chip (SOC) and demo system. He joined in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) as full professor since 2013 and He is now professor and Dean of School of Microelectronics in Tianjin University. His research interests include RF/ Microwave/mm-wave/THz integrated circuits and system design using CMOS, GaAs MMIC, MEMS and LTCC etc. for applications like satellite communication, software defined radio etc. He filed 24 patents and published over 200 refereed international journal and conference papers and He is review board for several international Journals. He gave invited talks and keynote addresses over 20 times. He received numbers of technique awards including best paper award etc. He was named in “The National Distinguished Young Scholar program” in 2016.
